Mature Age Students

2025 Mature Age Representative
The AULSS welcomes all mature age law students to Adelaide Law School. We recognise the unique challenges they face, often balancing family, work and caring responsibilities alongside their academic studies.
Commencing a university degree as a non-school leaver is a big decision and often requires a great deal of courage. At the commencement of the law degree, there are many references to the transition from high school to university, but very little discussion about what challenges lie ahead for someone who hasn’t sat an exam in a number of years.
The AULSS is proud of its vibrant, active and supportive mature student community, and students returning to university to embark on their journey in law can rest assured they are not alone.
We encourage you to join the Adelaide Law School Mature Age Students Facebook group for news and information about dedicated events for our community, and to connect with your fellow mature age students.
We also encourage you to email Franco, our 2025 Mature Age Representative via matureagerep@aulss.org to introduce yourself, ask a question or provide feedback on how we can better serve our community.
