Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Assembly - Dan Cregan
Position Description:
Dan Cregan MP is the independent Speaker of the House of Assembly and State Member for Kavel. The Speaker is seeking a legally qualified applicant to work as an adviser based out of his electorate office in Mount Barker, South Australia and from time to time at Parliament House.
The successful applicant does not need to have completed their GDLP.
Employment is on a full-time basis and would encompass a range of activities, including:
Advising the Speaker on legal matters;
Meeting with constituents;
Liaising with Government representatives at State, Federal and Local levels;
Representing the Speaker at various events;
Research, administration and case work.
The ideal candidate would have excellent problem solving, teamwork and communication skills and must love dogs.
The position is available for an immediate start from June 2023.
