Finlaysons Exam Answer Bank
All exam and essay answers in the Finlaysons’ Exam Answer Bank have been awarded high distinctions. However, students should be aware that in law there is normally no single correct answer. The solutions provided are not ‘model answers’ – the Law School encourages diversity of style in answering exam and essay questions. The solutions are provided only as a guide to demonstrate how some students have put together well structured answers (no guarantee is made as to the accuracy of content).
Students are reminded to use this resource sensibly. The Law School is aware of its existence and any plagiarism is likely to be detected and punished severely.
Keep in mind the following points when using the answer bank:
- All case names are in italics – we do not guarantee correctness of spelling
- Illegible words are denoted by question marks
- Where words have clearly been omitted by the authors, we have added what we think was meant to appear in square brackets
Thank you to those of you who have contributed answers to this resource. Your fellow students are indebted to you. For those of you interested in contributing, you may either send scanned images of your exam paper or a typed copy to email@example.com.
Many thanks to Finlaysons for proudly supporting this initiative.
